What's with the Avatar codes on Bakabt Staff
« on: September 09, 2010, 02:45:24 PM »
I thought it was just a decorative edit on the avatar but it seems a large chunk of the Bakabt staff have it.

Hmm...Could it be timezones?

To be honest, looks like a magic trick.

Ya... Roman numerals? o.O

binary numeral system

lower right corner first digit. lower left corner second digit. upper right corner third digit. upper left corner fourth digit.

duki = 0001 = 1
blubart = 0111 = 7
arveene = 0100 = 4
southrop = 0110 = 6

if bork's suggestion is right this is the way to calculate the numbers.

Even non staff have these. It represents something but is a well guarded secret

For Example:

Considering the website I'd think it's right-to-left & top-down.

0010 = 02
1011 = 11
1000 = 08
1001 = 09

But, 4 bit binary seems too limited.  If it is, it's for limited categories/ranking.  Time zones would need 5 bits.

I believe it is a power ranking system. Somewhere on a secret island, they battle it out to see who the true master of the interwebz is.

Probably what areas that they have privileges in where each box represents an area.
- forum mod
- authorize a torrent
- lacky
...

Could be a ranking in WOW
Could be their likes in music

What is also quite interesting is who, on BakaBT staff, does not have the little code box on their avatar, such as

Jarudin
Newy
Kureshii
FoRCe
Chiyachan

(and important others)

Well if we are following the idea that this is in some way related to the mods, doesn't it also seem interesting that only the 5 most newly appointed mods have this, but not the others  ;)

So in approximate order:
Arveene , Southrop , Xchiamiov, Duki , and Blubart

maybe it's a check list of things you have to do to join their secret mod elite circle that only the uber mods are in.
Once you get all the boxes out of the way you're in the home stretch. After that they make you chug a pint of beer and run a race blindfolded.

Not limited to one color, so that opens up the possibilities.  Four crimson squares and you've drunk enough blood for power level 9000+.

Or, clearing the color is enough saki to be Legendary.

It's how many times I've raped suprise-buttsexed them (in binary)

The linear nature of your Euclidean geometry both confounds and befuddles me.

Darn, another one noticed... ;D

You really should ask Xiong about it, but I'll give you a hint: it's based on the Rongorongo cypher... :P
