Solution for ratio before it becomes a problem/ wont have access for long

First, if I missed a solution (or set of them) in my research please point me to them, and I'll apologize for wasting your time. I am obviously new here and trying to avoid any trouble. This forum seems to run a tight ship, and I like that.

I joined here hoping to get some new series in preparation for a deployment I am leaving for next week. It is the best way to pass time out there. I just found this site recently or I would not be in this boat. Obviously, my seeding time is limited unless the internet in Afghan is better than reported and less restrictive. Once I return home, I can seed my fool head off, but that doesn't fix the current dilemma.

I would donate, but the bills are paid- another thing you all do that I like is being transparent on that. I put myself on the notification list for that so when it becomes available I'll use it. It is well worth $30 (sorry U.S. user here) to keep in good standing.

I also looked at the PFCorner for another solution, but the contact at the bottom went to a text document describing the recent improvements and a rehash of the wiki on it. I sent off an email to get things rolling there, but it is the weekend so I don't know if I'll get a reply in time. I asked for an invoice for 200GB (might double that later) so hopefully, that arrives and I can at least not be "warned" or worse for too long.

While I am here I put a couple on that had about half as many leeches as seeds in hopes of preventing the warning, and am using what skill I have to get them out through the commercial line here (yes, the Marines restrict that too unless you know how to get around it). I guess peers aren't using me as I am uploading at about 10k total to my BakaBT torrents (others are seeding at 50k+ each).

I am trying to find a solution as I fly out Wednesday. If I could get a good direction to go or something I haven't tried, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hmm,

Well you could try Freeleech torrents, or you could download the files with a public tracker and then seed them back with your own tracker

Hope that helps

Hahaha no this is the most relaxed forum i've ever laid eyes on, if you want a tight ship with lasers watching your every movement then i'd suggest the Animesuki forums i've gotten warnings for not making my links look right.

The advice generally given is to be patient and wait, but that might not be of too much help to you.

You should've come across the For First Timers page on the wiki while researching; if not, read it.

considering the time you have left the best option would probably to just log out and download away without worrying about your ratio.

if you don't want to log out there is still the approach i would generally not suggest but in your case it might be the only viable option:
our ratio warning doesn't kick in before a user downloads ~25GB worth of anime - so you can just waste your ratio and download as much as you can until the warning kicks in (try to complete series one at a time, once the warning kicks in you can't finish stuff) - and repair the ratio by seeding back once you come back home. ;)

another option would be freeleech (1080p) torrents - on freeleech torrents only the upload is counted towards your ratio - but i have my doubts that the device you'll be using in Afghanistan is 1080p capable?
