I was thinking about getting the Death Note box set, but the first volume here has these really stupid "READ THIS WAY" arrows at the top of every page.. Does the manga have any different scenes from the anime... is it worth getting? I thought it would be one of those things I could us to introduce people to Japanese manga/anime, but I really only need the first volume for that. I just got that bookcase today... So that was the main reason for posting

I also have Happy Bivouac... which is kinda like having FLCL.

the ending in manga is a LOT better

Well, I like Death Note the Manga more than the Anime

also, why arrows? there is no arrows in the finnish prints xD

There are in the English prints but those don't bother me and it's not like they're on every page, only on the pages that have room for them in the upper left corner on the left page.
