Lol spam much.
Has anyone ever bought manga online before? Because I would want to know if you ever got any damaged book. I'm very reluctant to order from Amazon as I don't know if they'll arrive in a perfect new state.

If you count ordering straight from the publisher, then yes :P

And ... ?? You didn't answer the real question. Were they ever damaged, in any way, like a bent corner or creased?

nope.
My cousin has ordered a lot more than I and he hasn't gotten any damaged ones (he has got 1,5 book shelves of manga the shelves are about 2m high)

I did, from www.archonia.com. Mostly a friend orders them and sometimes she askes me if i want some so we order them together.
Normally they are in rather good status. Ofc sometimes there will be a few (little) scratches but I think (and hope) that happened during transport.

That's exactly what I don't want. I have only one manga with a scratch (like when you write with an empty ballpoint on paper, that cavity that's left instead of the ink) and that's because I foolishly tore off the plastic with a pair of scissors. I don't want anything like that ever again. If the manga I order at my local mangashop have scratches/cavities I'll just refuse them, which makes me a huge jerk because they have to manually order each week if it isn't available in the first week and it's not a real thriving shop so they need the business I provide them (they even changed their collection because of me lol), but that's how much I care.
I'll collect some more customer experiences before actually buying something. So please every person who has bought manga online tell me if they were ever damaged in any way (slight scratch is damage to me), especially from Amazon.

Damaged books, you return them to Amazon. Great service. They will ship one to you RIGHT AWAY and not charge you for the new one, you ship them the old one with a provided box, and they won't charge you unless they don't receive it after 60 days

Yep, thats a big no no. I'll refuse them as well and make the shop assistant order a new copy over.
