Chef:
When I ordered Welcome to the NHK in store from Coles (same company as Chapters, Indigo... whatever), 5 of the books were fine, but 1 had about 20 pages at the top ripped even though it was in shrink wrap so I couldn't check in store when I picked it up. I was really pissed off. The other two from the series were the ones I was able to find on the shelf at a chapters downtown. I checked a lot of stores, but I guess I need to have gone to a specialty shop if I was going to make real progress.
I'd say what happened to me was a freak accident, but I've also ordered an album from Amazon.ca where the jewel case had an unsightly scratch on it... If it doesn't come in a box, you've basically got to accept the risk that someone shipping them isn't really paying attention and is probably handling them roughly.
Wilfried, do you just buy every manga that gets translated ?? haha. Your collection is really pretty, regardless.

Yep, thats a big no no. I'll refuse them as well and make the shop assistant order a new copy over.

Really? I thought it would be quite rude to do something like that, not something that would represent my school well (I visit in school hours)
