Have you ever played a Visual Novel?
Cosignu:
To Bakabt people.
A brief introduction... In my spare time, I work as a fan translator for visual novels. http://vndb.org/d6
Currently the project I am working on is called Katahane. tlwiki.tsukuru.info/index.php?title=Katahane
And so as a fan translator, I am overly curious. Have you heard of visual novels before? Have you played one? And most importantly, why not if you have not?
List of all translated visual novels to date:

yeah, obviously i would want to have the visual novel of a fav anime. i have the visual novel for Kanon, Da Capo, and Shuffle in english. i've played them all, but not to the end. i spent only a few days on each. i do have anime to watch and a job to go to. i bought Princess Waltz, but it was not very good. i prefer games that do not need to be installed too. all my Touhou games do not need installing and niether did Da Capo or Shuffle.
dont get me wrong, i like the games, there's lots of things in the game that didnt make it into the anime.....similar to how anime doesn't cover a whole manga.

A few years back, I tried playing an ero visual novel. I was disappointed 'cause I was expecting some cut-scenes. After that, I lost interest with visual novels.
Fast forward to last year, I got obsessed with Clannad so I got the game. I still haven't finished it 'cause Clannad is just so sad.
Anyways, I do appreciate visual novels now a lot more than I used to. I now understand why they are called visual novels. It's more of a novel with some visuals and some voice acting than a game.

I only play those that have a anime adaptation because I just want to see the "other side" of the heroines. You know what I mean. :-*
