Have you ever played a Visual Novel?

I might give the Disgaea VN, coming to PSN this month, a shot b/c I like Disgaea, but all in all, it's not my genre. If I want a game with a lot of story, I play a RPG or games like Heavy Rain or God of War.

Well, I can't speak for any of the others, but Galaxy Angel and Sakura Wars have two of the most bland protagonists ever. You should try something like Ever17 or Sharin no Kuni. Also I believe Narcissu is free and pretty good.

Fate/Stay Night: Realta Nua

Yosuga no Sora (although it's not completely translated :()

Everybody should play Tsukihime... that's the epitome of all VNs. No other VN can beat it in terms of storyline.

Tsukihime
It's made by the same guys who did fate/stay night. It's got both fighting and mystery. A heck of a lot of mystery.
