Adult/Mature board?

Its been a long time since I've been on the forum, and its changed a bit. Used to there was an adult/mature board, is it gone or am I just blind?

I'm still mad that the adult section was deleted, by the way.
Having adult content on the tracker without being able to discuss it is just so goddamn silly...
And if inappropriate threads were a problem, getting a couple of dedicated moderators would've helped, no need to delete everything.

For the record, the board wasn't deleted. It was just removed from public viewing and posting.
This was done because a few select individuals kept insisting on posting illegal material such as lolicon.
At the time, no staff member really delved into that forum because they had no interest at all.
Now that there's a dedicated Forum Mod. (-Stares at Newy-) I don't see why it couldn't be possibly reinstated....

Getting moderators that we can trust to keep a hentai section appropriately, well, moderated is harder than you think.

I would agree. You would probably need 2 board moderators for that board alone. If you had 1 and he disappeared for awhile the place could turn into a shitstorm in minutes and nobody would realize.

I do however see the argument of why it should be put back in.

If the problem with the board was the posting of lolicon images, then an easy way to moderate the board could be to ban image posting altogether. That way people could at least still discuss hentai.

That would be again a solution worthy of politicians... Just ban it for everyone because two or three idiots do it.

any easy solution would probably be if anyone would post anything considered unacceptable it could be removed and they get a warning and if it happened one or two more times said person could get banned, there is someone here who often has their hammer at their side right

You missed the entire reason why we removed it - the section did not get moderated like it needed to be, and thus degenerated into something we'd rather not deal with.  Simply re-enabling the board without changing anything else will eventually return to the same result.

I say instant ban would make more sense. You give too many warnings for that kind of thing, especially if it's in the forum rules.
