Shadow of the Colossus & ICO [HD on PS3]

I never played the originals ones on PS2 so this is an opinion that reflects that. Atmosphere is good. I don't particular like how you wind up at the starting point every time you kill a colossus. It makes me feel less in control and probably less immersive in the world. Though I suppose it is easier to find them going from that point and there's also less travelling.
I've only slain four so far. I like that there's a unique approach to handling them. I've only had trouble with the third one who wouldn't strike his sword down instead of directly down which I can't do much with. The controls and camera needs some getting used to, but it's actually quite playable after a few hours.
I don't know yet if there's a difference in hitting one monster in the stomach or head, but I suppose it isn't that important since one giant doesn't take more than one hour.
It's amazing such a title was released to PS2 back in the day. Seriously, didn't expect a PS2 title to be able to do this. Then again, what God of War could do, I didn't know of that as well until I played the HD versions. I've heard of the title before, but I always thought it looked boring as hell. I guess a bit of maturity is in order to enjoy such a title as this? I didn't get Ico, only SotC on PSN, I doubt I'd like it so I am glad they were being sold separately.
As I am already down to 4, 12 to go. I stopped playing. I think I could finish this in a day, but then It'd be over. I'll spare the colossus for the moment. ;)

I'm curious to know whether the PC emulator is better then the PS3 HD version.
The HD version was a let down, I expected alot more, to my standards this isn't HD

I did that Its really easy to be honest You can get to the end really fast in the beginning of the game.
