A tv series I'm watching had the episodes mislabled, 12 & 13 were swapped so I ended up going from 11 to 13 and now I'm watching "12" (13). I thought an episode was missing or something, but that just sucks.

Yeah, first year we had a broken fire alarm, so every night at 4 or 5 AM for two weeks it would go off and we'd have to stand outiside in frostbite warning weather for 20+ minutes until the fire truck arrived. It was fun, no doubt.

At least this time I put a shirt on and it was 7 and not 5.

Why the fuck do I have to write 4-5 sentences when I could write it in 1? WHY the fuck do I need to open sentences that is pretty much common knowlodge and explain what I meant. Just fuck this shit.
I Absolutely hate writing long sentences on documents.
I can write long stuff when making esseys or stuff but FUCK THIS SHIT

Okey, I don't like thsi teach at all, she doesn't listen to what I have to say and interrupts me while I'm trying to explain something. She should just stfu and listen and then tell me what she thinks, she ought not to try force her opinions on me and then whien about me being uncooperative. But fuck, normal conversation doesn't work on her so, FUCK THIS SHIT

An 9 hour elective seminar held this saturday. What the hell did I think with choosing this course....

Also, certain feminists opinions on sexism in games without going through all possible franchises, instead hacking established fairytale based franchises apart (e.g. Zelda). Also presenting certain flawed evidence...

The seminar got moved ahead for an hour, so now it starts at 7 because some idiot complained about the lack of a lunch break beforehand. Had he stayed silent then we could've have argued the lack of planning is the institute's fault, so they'd have to give us the credits anyway...

Microsoft's C++ code analysis in Visual Studio... Would refuse to tell me what was wrong, or where that was, and instead opted for a generic "CA0001: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"-error whith no details whatsoever – not even a file name –, breaking my build -.-

Had to sift through the damn log files to actually find the "problem" (which wasn't really an actual problem, but just a "your local variable shadows a global one"-warning in a function I will probably never touch again)...

I was downloading something at 2MB/s and uploading at 4MB/s+ so I set the ratio channel to only upload at 1MB/s and then the speed dropped like a rock down to 1xx KB/s... >_<

edit: Also, why does freakin' everything install Direct X? Does nothing just check to see that it's already installed or what?

It's because there are so many different versions of DirectX, which are all subtly different. I think it actually has a monthly release schedule, or did for a while. And so two games which require DirectX 9.0c, for example, might well require different versions of 9.0c, which might not be compatible. If a feature required by the game changed between those versions, then it might not work with one of them. Chances are you have a whole bunch of seemingly identical DX dll files installed on your PC which are all different versions, that have been installed by different games.

This is compounded by the fact that MS forbid distributing DX in any form other than the full official installer. So rather than just including the specific dll files the game needs, they have no choice but to include the full installer, and install the whole lot. Which is an annoying waste of everyone's time.
