It's not really the kids to blame, it's the parents that let their kids do whatever they want and think their kids are always right. A lot of parents will even react angrily or even violently when told to keep their kids under control.

The bad thing for restaurants is that the assholes will just be offended and walk out without even paying. This generation of parents suck.

My roommate and his girlfriend have decided, that at 1145 PM, it's a great idea to start making dinner. This would be fine if it didn't involve them doing dishes, loud, then cooking, loud, burning things, strong smells, talking, loud, and then doing dishes again, also loud.

I guess I'm not going to sleep yet, looks like I'll be doing something else.

Dick roommate? I guess you didn't get to choose?

Of course not. Two of my 4 roommates are international students and they both smoke. Which I said I didn't want. Oh well.

Ugh my brother wants to go to a birthday party but the parents said no because it wasn't necessary and I'm really mad cause they let me go to parties and this is just really unfair and I really want to say something to change their minds but idk what to say and my brother is crying his eyes out in the bathroom. It's not like they're going skinny dipping or something they just want to watch a movie >.>

Yes, well, of course that's how it is. Being the younger sibling sorta sucks a lot of the time.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

Fucking catch 22. If I wanna take a day off from my job because I'm sick, the rules at my job demand that I bring a medical paper proving that I was sick. To get a medical paper, I need to go to a clinic and see a doctor. The very reason I'd want a day of is so that I can stay home and heal, yet if I go see a doctor I'll have to wait at the clinic easily 5 to 8 hours just to have their stupid medical paper which means that I won't be resting at home.

Edit: And now they won't even answer their damn phone.

Having to convert back and forth between System::String and std::string/std::wstring... Still better than learning win32 and doing all the annoying control rearranging stuff (i.e. on language change or window resize) myself, though

You should be proud of it, that's what forums are for. It's people with attention spans too short to even read a forum post that should be the ones ashamed.

People these days are becoming too accustomed to texting and twitter crap that they forget how to actually communicate properly. It'll be a truly sad day when anything longer than 255 characters long is dubbed "tl;dr" by the younger generation.

It's only a wall of text if it's not formatted properly. In other words, if you don't separate your ideas in paragraphs, etc.
Don't just assume that you are right. Verify with the best tools available and if you are wrong, change your mind and you will become right.

unless you made a post like this. one where nobody can fucking read it because the person typing it has no idea how to use the 'enter key' on their keyboard. OR you go off some some insane tangent (like bringing up world war 2 in a thread about my little pony friendship is magic) or use that annoying internet lingo though out the whole fucking thing (lol, brb, omg, ttly, idkmbffj, etc, etc, etc). i really dont think its a 'wall of text' so much as a 'long post'. do ya dig wut im sayin lulz?

That's why it's a good policy to keep some cans of soup lying around that you can just easily heat up.

Tell them bacteria you aren't putting up with this shite.

I just hope it was read and thoroughly considered, certainly in this day and age (for reference it's regarding new pc builds, I replied to a thread in the technology sub forum).
