Construction sites, especially the noisy ones.

Earlier today, I got very pissed off with the construction when they start the drill thingy, the super noisy one.
It's so noisy that even with all the windows and door securely shut, I still can hear them quite clearly.
Even the floor is vibrating. It doesn't help that my room is literally 5m away from the source like right outside of the window.

^that's never happened to me, but what has happened was when these people were redoing the foundation of my house and the workers kept staring at me through the windows. It was creepy. I almost went out there to ask them why the fuck were they staring at me, but instead I had more important things to do (school work lol).

I've been recently watching Visions of Escaflowne on my PAL DVD in all it's glorious ghosty-ness, though it looks damn good on my big screen TV :3

Anyway, I'm almost done, down to the last few episodes when what do I find on one of my many HDDs? Vision of Escaflowne (1080p)

WHY DO I NOT SEARCH MY ARCHIVES BEFORE WATCHING MY SHITTY DVDs from Australia...

Go shopping, 40 minute drive to the nearest major centre.
Get there and it's pitch black inside, no lights on, get in the mall itself and stores are still open using torches and christmas lights powered by batteries... the fuck, I get the mall (and only the mall) has no power, but damn this is annoying. How the fuck am I supposed to see my groceries?
