FUCK THIS THING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT ON PERFECTLY. After 6 attempts and 1.5 hours later, I got it on with no dust under it, but there's 2 small bubbles that JUST WONT SMOTH OUT.

I can see through them while using it, so all's good, but... I can't stand flaws and I'm afraid if I renove it and start again, I'll get another microscopic spec of dust in there again

The airbubble is likely caused by a single grain of sand. Try to carefully lift the protector where the bubble is, then take a piece of regular household tape & rip off the grain of sand with it.
I worked in retail for two years & had to apply screenprotectors quite often. It was an annoying thing to do but after putting +- 100 screenprotectors on devices in 3 days you do get the hang of it.

Okay, I admit I prefer heat to cold, but damn this is just a bit too hot. 38 degrees here, and it''s only the start of summer

I hate to think what the middle of summer is going to be like, probably 45 or more.
