Soap may be cheaper, but it dries my skin out. I prefer lotions because they're better for my skin, even if they do cost roughly 10 times as much as soap bars. Plus they smell better, the waste product is less harmful to the environment and they don't get all gunky if you leave them wet.
metro, I said I don't use SOAP, not that I don't wash....
I don't know how big Dove is outside of the US, but they're the best body soaps/body washes we have here. Extremely moister, rich, and smells really good but they're
expensive as fuck. I only purchase Dove stuff for the house. Soaps, body wash, deodorants, I have different kinds I stack in the bathrooms. I only have face lotion but I use it like once a week or every two weeks.
Caresses (I think the name of the brand?) is several steps below Dove but they're okay products. Still gotta use lotion even after using it. I used their body wash ones and it's alright, but it doesn't leave that long-lasting moister feeling like Dove.
My favorite ones are the blue kind and the Go-Green. I also have the pink/reddish one and that smells really nice.
Edit - there's also Olay, forgot about them. Not a fan of these. My sister and mother used to use their products until I started bringing Dove to the house.
