First my flat's boiler broke so we had no hot water or heating for a couple of days, then one of the shelves fell off the wall and landed on my flatmate's head (luckily there wasn't much on it, so she only suffered a big bump and a headache), and now my toilet's broken so I can't use it (and it probably won't be fixed until Monday now). All in the space of a week ¬¬
Toilets aren't that difficult to fix or replace. I'm just about the least handy person on the planet, and I've done both on different occasions. Depending on what the problem is, and whether or not you're allowed to make your own repairs in a place that you are renting, you can probably fix it yourself. I suggest Googling the symptoms if you haven't done so already.
Unfortunately it was something that I couldn't fix, since the tank is completely inaccessible without special tools. I live in student halls of accomodation, so it's a weird en-suite shower/toilet pod thing. Fortunately, the maintenance guy came round and fixed it while I was out this afternoon

EDIT: Another thing that pisses me off is incompetent local councils who seem to be incapable of doing anything without constant nagging and moaning from me. I
still haven't received my student loan yet, it's ridiculous.
EDIT 2: Also, flatmates who insist on playing really crap R&B music at ridiculously loud volumes all the time. And flatmates who keep turning the temperature of the fridge up so all my food just ends up at room temperature.
Yeah, I'm in a bad mood today.
