Fun things may or may not be a waste of time. Need to focus on the greater things in life first. Neglecting them and having fun, which brings no gain to anyone, would be a waste of time in my opinion...

^. There are stuff which are fun but not a waste of time. I engage in those more. They give me pleasure and I gain something from them at the same time. Overused saying like yours: Two birds with one stone.

When people try to forcibly push their ideals on you. For example matters of belief. Speaking about it enthuasticly is ok but active converting is just annoying..
