Trying to watch Sherlock on TV. I wasn't around when it was on, so I decided to watch it on Iplayer. But for some reason it's not working properly (gets about 30s in and stops), no matter what I do. Every other show I've tried loads fine, just Sherlock. So I figured I'd just torrent it instead, but every torrent has about 20 seeds and 1000 leechers, so that's not happening atm either. I was looking forward to watching it tonight, too

Incidentally, I can't help but be faintly bemused by the mainstream TV release scene. All these scene groups, supposedly the best of the best, and they all release in 340p Xvid, with 128kbs ABR MP3 audio. Makes you realise just how lucky we are in the anime community to have people releasing shows in decent quality. They also insist on packing all their releases into loads of split rar files, just to be annoying.

I dunno, the top seeded file for the new episode on every torrent site I visited was a pretty good 720p release.

People who talk shit to someone for acting in a certain way but are so dense that they cant realize they are doing it themselves as well. Said person is also very hypocritical, but to be fair, that is quite the norm for people in the same demographic of hanself.

People who take pictures all the time during social or family gatherings. I have to cater to their photographic technique or lack thereof, annoying flashing lights, and their fluttering about like butterflies throughout the room while I'm trying to commiserate.

People who feel the need to call me when they haven't actually thought through what they're going to say - and either act shocked and annoyed that I had the gull to actually answer the phone and not leave them the time to explain themselves on a digital message. Actually, phone calls in general have become pretty draining, I have an email account I check religiously that is far more an effective communication medium than me jotting down whatever is they want me to remember whilst holding the phone in the crook of my neck and shoulder.

People who expect me to have checked or care about in the least their facebook account or other similar social media products.

Insomnia.
