I think it's to make them shine so that they look more fresh or something. Clearly, it doesn't work that well.

When people say "literally" when they don't mean it. I mean, they use it to mean completely the opposite of what it's supposed to. The other day, my friend said about me, "He literally eats nothing."

People eliminate the meaning of words, essentially killing them. Literally is a good word. Why kill it?

Downloadable games which appear to be freeware until you realize that the whole thing requires real money to buy upgrades/items that would make it in the least bit enjoyable. I'd prefer they'd just charge for the whole thing up front rather than being a tease about it.
