Get your eyes tested and then buy the glasses online. I got 4 pairs for less than £40 and they came with anti glare as standard.

4 pairs for £40, with that anti-glare stuff? Wow, Specsavers were charging £30 for the anti-glare alone. I went there expecting to get a really nice pair of £120 designer glasses for £40 again like I did last time, but I completely forgot that I'm too old to have them subsidised by the NHS anymore

Ended up spending £75 on them (with student discount), but at least it was quick. About 2 hours from arriving (without an appointment, either) to getting my glasses.

Anyway, on topic: house parties which go on for longer than you realise. I planned to not stay out too late since I had lectures today, but next thing I knew it was 5:30am and I was still up =/ Ended up having to struggle through several hours of accounting lectures on no sleep

The fact that it started raining here 10 minutes before I was planning to head out and go grocery shopping. I don't mind driving in the rain, but tromping back to my car through a wet parking lot with a shopping cart full of stuff and then trying load my car while also holding an umbrella annoys me.

Yah, I went out anyway. It actually wasn't bad, it was really more the timing that irritated me. I live in the 'Sunshine State' (oh, irony) so I'm accustomed to dealing with thunderstorms, hurricane, and heavy rain in general. I just don't like being out in it.

^yea i guessed it right, well for starters when that kind of thing happens to me(not exactly a party but when my parents force me to go out with them somewhere) i'd bring a book and waste my time reading it, if i had a laptop i'd bring that instead and waste my time reading mangas on wifi hot-spots or play plant-vs-zombies.
