Butcher grades, career, money, life, etc all of it.

Women tend to have studies, jobs, and lives of their own as well ya'know. There are quite a few examples I could list of romantically involved couples who haven't ended up impoverished wretches begging for a quick death for simply having dated. They have what most humans call priorities, and balance their time between each other and their individual responsibilities - even encouraging each other to greater heights personally or professionally.
