I hate when I think I'm going to get some dope later this day and it turns out I don't. I get my hopes up and they get crushed

This pisses me off. I don't deal well with dissappointments...

Apparently that's the correct term for a barrel of ale that size. But since I've also heard various people refer to them as casks, kegs, and barrels, I'm not actually 100% sure which is right.

Whatever it's called, nine gallons of ale is pretty damn heavy.

You may, it's essentially because I started out thinking "I like this one field", but then I realized that I didn't love it, it was just easy to me. And it wasn't going to get me to the place in my life I want to be in 10 years. Thus, by looking at where I want to be and matching it up with what I find interesting, I have found some GENERAL idea of perhaps a new direction.

I have not slept well for the last 6 months because of this dissonance.

I can relate, I went through a similar struggle in 1995. The stress almost drove me crazy, but fortunately a long talk with my mom helped give me some perspective. Fortunately, if you go through this when you're still young, it's not that big of a deal in the long run; losing a few years by changing your educational direction is not that much if you consider that you'll most likely be working 30 to 40 years or more as an adult.

Yeah, I'm pretty lucky to figure it out now, only a semester and a half into University. I'm still only 18 so I've got some time to figure my life out.

It's still annoying though

I'm thinking commerce or something similar. I'm really not entirely sure. Something business or economics related.

The thing with getting an actual Econ degree is that if you want to do anything useful with it you need at least a Master's, maybe a Ph.D and I could do it, I just don't have the drive to.
