Aside from the actual sound of the food in question being eaten (like chips/crunchy cereals/etc.) I find it really annoying to hear aaaaaaaaw

Weight, depends on the laptop.
"Looks cooler" depends on the person, but yes minimal design is nice.

Not a selling feature for a something I use for working only.

You can buy a netbook, a solid PC and probably a car anyways, if you saved up for a new macbook.

Personally I don't care, but most of the time, when I hear the term "Mac" I just want to grab a construction Hammer and smash the shit into dust.

I just love all the details you put.

Seriously though, if you get a mac because you don't want any viruses, might as well get a PC with Ubuntu. Software compatibility is about as bad as Mac but it's even cheaper than windows and opensource software are the awesome.
