I don't mind stoned people personally, they tend to be quiet at the very least. I'm just discouraged that many are unaware of the health risks, particularly related to heavy usage. In a sense the hyperbolic language of the anti-drug people has pushed an opposing equally dismissive logic on the part of the recreational drug users.

I know people who would never smoke cigarettes due the expense and health effects who glibly use marijuana without a care.

It's yet another good reason to legalize it. You can ensure people know what they're getting into, and deal with the negative consequences to its usage in a systemically rational manner as we've been trying to do with alcohol-abuse and smoking for quite a while now.

I think objectively that legislation against marijuana causes more damage than the drug itself. Thousands and thousands of people have a criminal record associated with it and at the end much of the profit goes in the hand of criminal organisations. If it was legal, it would be easier to control the market and we would get billions in taxes, while also saving billions from of law enforcement.

Yes, outside of saving our corrections and criminal justice system time and all of us taxpayer dollars - it would cut into the profits of criminal enterprises which in many instances provide the drug and commit far more heinous crimes than trafficking of marijuana. We could also deal with people who need medical or psychiatric attention due to its usage.

How many people openly discuss their marijuana use with their physician? For those truly addicted, what assistance are they likely to seek out? There are substantial resources available to smokers and alcoholics which simply can't be applied to marijuana-users because of its legal status - yet the use of the drug itself is nearly as prolific now.

Well I know for DotA, douchebag-ery prevailed predominantly at the higher tiers. It's the main reason I never stuck with any of the clans I was apart of; you couldn't play a damn inhouse without watching the losing team going at each other's throats the entire game. If the game was close, it just meant that EVERYONE was yelling at each other. At the end of it, the winning team just tells the losing team that they blow, and the losing team blames it on their weakest link. And this all happens between people who play within the same fucking community.

I guess only to places where it's legal in some capacity.

When my friends or family get waaay to close to the edge of a roof and act like its no big thig.

I get seriously scared for them.

Back story- Was roofing a building that my uncle owns the other day. 30 stories up and no railings or anything. I have no problem walking around up there, but when you get near the edge and look down... oh shit that gets to me. You are NOT going to survive a tumble down that. Anyway, other people just walk up to it likes its nothing and I get scared just watching them be near it. It pisses me off because I seem to have been the only person bothered by it and I got made fun of =(

Seriously, who in their right mind does not get scared watching someone in a situation where all they gotta do is take a mis-step and kill themselves??!?!?!?
