I don't care about work, everything's been saved on my computer since the 6th grade - no. My 5th grade vice principle/civics teacher confiscated my metal slammer (this was for Pogs, mind you) coming back from recess, and then it mysteriously disappeared at the end of the day.

He didn't even know what Pogs were, or the fact that I payed 2 dollars for it.

The bastard was a total Mister Rodgers cosplayer, thinking about him still pisses me off.

I make copies of most of the work I hand in.

But I can't really do that with a midterm now can I?

OT: It's been two and a half weeks and I've yet to get my Physics midterm back. This guy has no time management skills.

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

I don't mind CompSci group projects. Group research papers are fucking retarded though. The mere concept of doing a research paper with more than 1 person is retarded.

Gintama's off the air again. I thought it was just getting back into top form when they threw the rug from underneath it. I wouldn't say It's been great all the way through, and it's certainly felt stretched at  times, but it genuinely make makes me laugh when it's working on all cylinders

It was, perhaps, the only reason I looked forward to Mondays.

Research is often done by more than one person, particularly in the sciences. Well, at least in my discipline.

I suppose I could have clarified better. Projects where you read other people's research and write about it are dumb if it consists of > 2 people.

Oh, so it's just to make things more convenient for your instructor by reducing the overall number of papers to grade. While I don't know the specifics of your paper, from my own experience these sorts of projects can go well if you have some trust in your peers.

If you can work together long enough to establish a thesis and outline, simply divide the paper based on sub-headings. The most skilled writer among you should take on the introduction and the weakest the conclusion.

Just make sure you have time to share in the editing at the end, even those gifted in composition are better with a second or third eye to review. It will also add continuity to the work, the evident linguistic idiosyncrasies and quirks will be smoothed out, and it tends to become more concise as others critique one another's work.

Idiots vegetarians and vegans going on about how rising animals pollutes the earth and how starving humans could be fed by crops grown to feed to animals.
Why don't these idiotic vegans that goes on about pollution and animals just start to look at the animal aka human who actually pollutes the earth? I mean - less humans less, less starving humans and less animals to grow.
I do get all that animal growing for food and clothing is cruel, but that's just because there is need for more meat. Less humans=problems solved.

And why doesn't vegans more rise question of killing animals for fun? It is much more evil then keeping them in not so nice environment, cattle have no idea what life is anyhow, wild animals do.

Besides it have been proven that trees and grass and so on growing things also feel pain and get scared....

...Men are so necessarily mad that it would be another twist of madness not to be mad...

I'm not sure why you are making a dichotomy between reducing the number of human and reducing the amount of pollution produced by each human. Both would reduce our ecological footprint on a complementary way. The difference being that exterminating humans is extremely cruel while convincing them to adopt a cleaner lifestyle is not.

And why doesn't vegans more rise question of killing animals for fun? It is much more evil then keeping them in not so nice environment, cattle have no idea what life is anyhow, wild animals do.
Because they already do.

It have been proven by who, how and when? Because last time I checked, plants don't have a central nervous system to feel anything.
Don't just assume that you are right. Verify with the best tools available and if you are wrong, change your mind and you will become right.

And even if that's true, it's still morally less bad to eat plants than animals because if you eat meat you make both plants and animals suffer, whereas you only make plants suffer if you eat them directly.

I never said that disposing of all humans would not be cruel. I just said, that it would fix most environmental problems a lot better then stopping eating meat :)

I did not say that they do not rise this question, but this one usually it's usually in background. (I do have few committed vegan friends that get drunk and can not shut up about veganism and animals and so forth, and they are not one of these idiots who are vegans because it is in style, they are vegans because they believe it and take their time to educate themselves about all of that.

I agree, they do not have central nervous system, but there was some research I read a while ago, that prove that plant juice flows faster if someone hurts them and if someone with intent to hurt them approaches them. I can not link you to it, I read it on paper and not on monitor. But I bet there is something online about that as well.

Morality is a big bowl of shit. We have no problems of ignoring human being hurting human beings and we concern ourselves with animals. Lets deal with humans hurting humans and then protect other animals.
As soon as human invented this so called moral everything went down the hill.

Anyone can do it with resources, but not in 3 months, I can because I know how, normal people wouldn't even believe how easy it is if you have resources :D

It should be mentioned that edible plants have evolved over millions of years to be eaten by herbivores. Not to mention the thousands of years of horticulture which have selectively bred them further for their taste and capacity to swiftly reproduce. Plants do have biochemical responses to predators, but these are the inedible ones.

While we're omnivorous, we've never consumed as much meat as we are now.  I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, but there are a number of valid reasons to reduce the production and consumption of livestock. I actually prefer hunters, at least with hunting the population size is controlled and they're not stuffed with hormones or forced into cannibalization in densely packed living areas. So long as the hunters are conservative and eat their kills, I have no problem with it.
