Bro, I know that feel... almost. I love math, and do really well at it, as long as I don't have to do hard stuff like add/subtract/multiply/divide. I get complex concepts down rock solid, but I can't do simple fucking arithmetic consistently to save my life. I have tried all kinds of tricks including saying the numbers out loud, but I often simply write them down wrong (i.e. I say "Five plus two equals seven", and write 5+2=2). I even enter numbers into the calculator incorrectly. It frustrates me to no end, especially since I'm in an engineering major and math is basically my life blood. It may not be dyscalculia, but there's definitely something wrong upstairs.
