people who are narrow minded and fail to see the bigger picture, who think whenever a person stands up against them its racism.

Having a little accident and ending up with crushed joint capsule in wrist and having to wear big, heavy brace on arm for month or more.

When a person says he doesn't give a shit about his birthday and then start's acting like a bitch cause I didn't wish him and saying he was expecting something nice and surprising.

And it ain't my fault that his birthday has to be during test. I just forgot about it, damn you.

Oh, you meant that it's not part of your culture to take of your shoes; then my original comment still applies: Please make up your mind.

It's the same, I don't give a damn, and neither does my family, and we are cool with it. For me birthday is just like realizing that you wasted another one year of your short life, but I ain't so negative about it.

I would understand if it was a girl, since you know how girls are, but a guy acting like that is seriously immature.

Easy fix guys:  either make sure to tell them when they come in, or just post a big sign.  Since that's not a common practice, the onus is on you.  When I was a teenager I used to make people take off their shoes before entering my room - had a sign for it.  ;D

My school just canceled my summer classes due to "insufficient enrollment", which pushes my graduation date back another semester.  Yesterday I was too livid to even post about it.  I am enrollment enough, who do they think they are?!  >:|

It's common practice here,  it's considered rude if you don't. Unless you're like, helping someone move into a house or something when it doesn't make any sense.  Whether it is a "common practice" or not is very dependent on location.

What bugs me a lot is when someone says they'll do something and then backs out without telling you.  The fact that they care so little to make someone else's life more difficult makes me angry..

I don't understand why anyone would want to keep their shoes on when they are at home. Doesn't it get really dirty, or don't people care since they still have their shoes on?
Now I'm just curious, when do you ever take off your shoes? You don't sleep with them on, right...?

I don't mind taking them off, but you need to ask first.

Sorry, I meant that here it's common practice to take them off, if you don't, you're seen as rude.  But when I've visited people in the US, it seems like there they keep them on.  Personally I hate shoes.. I'll take any excuse I can get to take mine off. :P
