I have a gum infection that is getting slightly worse. I've been told in the past that I have too many teeth, and the gums adjacent to my backmost bottom right molar occasionally get inflamed, like maybe once a year for a few days. I should probably eventually have that back tooth removed, and maybe the tooth directly above it. This time, though, I've had very mild discomfort for a few days and today it's actually gotten painful. My tooth is fine, it's my gums that are bothering me. I started rinsing my mouth with warm-to-hot salt water today, shouldv'e thought to do that before now. Oh well.
Funny thing is, the rest of my gums & teeth are fine. I brush once or twice every day, and use mouthwash about 75% of the time. I only floss a couple of times a month, though, and it's difficult to get floss all the way in the back of my mouth.
