The storm that rolled through last night and knocked out my power almost all night and made a tree fall on my pontoon boat. Thats what I get for never taking the time to put it in the lake this year.

Oh well, we certainly needed the rain.

The Olympics. It blends my persistent dislike of overt displays of nationalism with my usual antipathy towards sports. Not that I have anything against athletes or their successes, but I don't have any intention of watching. It's just... I know I'll still be surrounded by people who will, and that can become unpleasant in my experience. Canadians are such massive whiners at times, particularly when they're thwarted in international athletics... I don't look forward to the bitterness.

Hey I don't know you where anti-nationalist too. Yeah, never was a big fan of the Olympics either although it doesn't really affect me since I don't even have a TV.

The Olympics? Pffft. Who even watches TV when you have the internet? I haven't watched a single broadcast in 8 years, well, the odd news program, but that's it. Maybe Cartoon network once every few months or so :3
