Watched some of Breaking bad on tv, and ofc I have watched Game of thrones, just season 1 tho. Since I have read the books, I wasn't THAT happy with the casting, and they were kinda stiff in the acting in the beginning, but it got better in the end of the show. Gonna download season 2, I heard it was better than season 1. I'm very hard to convince when I have read the books before they make a movie or a tvserie out of something, since the "film" I have made in my mind while reading, is usually so much better;)
The movie in one's head while reading is always the best. I was addicted to reading for a long time because I never wanted the movie to end lol. Robin Hobb's Farseer/Liveship/Tawny Man books were really hard to put down when I read them years ago. Same with Terry Goodkind, too. Now, its hard to find time to sit down and read.
So, you have seen some Breaking Bad. Excellent. It gets better and better as it goes on. At least I think so, anyway. I went from "interested" to "addicted" very quickly.
Season two of Game of Thrones is far better than season one IMO. Season two really picks up the pace as far as moving the story (stories?) along. The actors seem to feel more comfortable in their roles, too. The books are still better to me, but since George R.R. Martin is working on the show as well, the show has followed the books very closely. I think having hour-long episodes is great because they can fit so much into each episode.
