The movie/game rental place was selling used DVDs/Wii games on the cheap. My Wii library is somewhat limited, and they had plenty of television series box sets which I was interested in.

I got home and looked through my haul. There were a few scratches here or there, nothing I didn't expect and mostly they needed a bit of CD cleaner. That was, until I got to Super Paper Mario... it's cracked almost entirely in half. I mean, with a bit of pressure you can see sunlight through the break.

That the store even accepted this for a used game trade-in baffles me. That the cashier examined the physical disc and still felt assured that I or anyone would want it, and simply put it in a case, makes me wonder if her eyesight was shot. At any rate, this has taken an hour out of my day, when it should have been two seconds of mild disappointment that they didn't have a working copy.

Lol well, I'd say stabbing him in the shin was a little excessive, however the time I wanted to kill him with a baseball bat, he truly deserved it. Although I've mellowed out a lot since then. Even so, fair enough XD

Well the only thing that held me back was a friend who was a black belt in some kind of martial arts. If he didn't put me into a submission hold and nearly break my arm, I probably would succeeded...Wish he would of let me at times because that bastard still needs a good beating.

Well i think it applies more so now than anything...I'm actually quite patient and have less murderous tendencies and more of a pacifist these days, but back then, yeah I was an angry kid XD

I thought he had the patience of a saint because he didn't succeed in the attempt and I assumed he had enough self-restraint not to follow thru.  If the situation starts with someone peeing on you and escalates from there, then the other person really deserves an old-fashioned beat down.  We don't tolerate that kind of nonsense here in the South!  But the fact that BaronVonBull had to be physically restrained by someone else does sort of put the lie to my assumption.

 Ixarku: I may not have had the patience of a saint as a kid, but I like to think I do now. Really takes a lot to bother me these days. Unless someone physically hit me, I usually avoid confrontation.

Mom was watching a soap opera on TV. A local one. And I suddenly heard music from "Hotarubi no Mori E". I was so mad. I'm sure they didn't do anything about copyright. (They used music from LOTR in almost every soap opera at some point. this pissed me off as well).

I really get annoyed and angry when they do this. And I see they tend to do such things a lot on our TV.

Ah, so the real reason you drink finally comes out -- to compensate for massive insecurity.  Familiar story, there.  I think it's why alcohol was invented in the first place.  Don't worry, word of advice:  you don't actually have to be good, all you have to do is to not suck as much as everybody else.  Being 'King of the Retards' may sound like a hollow achievement, but it's still good to be the king, baby.  It's all relative, after all.

Today I'm irritated at not being able to sleep well.  I seem to go through cycles where I sleep really well for a few weeks at a time, and I'll sleep like shit for days on end.  By the time I get to the end of a workday, I'm struggling to stay awake at my desk; at the end of a work week, I'm exhausted.  Doesn't seem like much I do influences this pattern.
