The reason for that is because the actual line being said is a 2chan meme (Japanese equivalent of 4chan), which was part of the point, and just translating it literally would completely remove that meaning. Hence, replacing it with an equivalent 4chan meme - there were a couple of occasions when they did so.

The definitely could have chosen a slightly better meme though. The original Japanese one was only a couple of words long IIRC.

The janitor not to be found anywhere when the Telekom technician came to activate my internet connection, as the tech needed access to the phone distribution box

now I need to get another appointment with the Telekom tech, unless I want no internet in my apartment.

And the Telekom for making appointments like "between 8 AM and 4 PM" -.-'
Why should I get up at 6 to get to my apartment (I didn't move there yet, we're in the middle of painting currently), if the tech doesn't show up until 3 PM? At least I didn't have to wait quite that long because he arrived at 9, but still...

Yeah I feel you, last time I had something like that, I told the company that between A and B I'm not at home, and if they are not gonna show up at the time I am at home i['ll call someone else and let them earn the money.

I'd love to do that... But Telekom is the only decent ISP offering VDSL where I'm moving ._.

Dorms usually comes wired internet, at least they do here.

It sounded more like this: go online -> connect to wifi to go online

The fact that 24 hours only gets me ~24 gigs through my freaking DSL.
