It astounds me that I have to deal with an issue like that.  I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, though, considering all of the junk I've had to pick up out of my yard over the last few years.  I live on the corner of a busy side street, so there are always bottles, cans, and various food wrappers that have to be collected before I can mow.  And cigarette butts beyond count.  Even if people never smoked around me, I'd still fucking hate smokers because of all of the discarded cigarette butts on the ground.  Littering should be a capital offense IMO.  Or litterers should at least be subject to a caning.
It took an hour to write; I figured it'd take an hour to read.

just until recently, youtube had a simple download button to download crap, now i don't see it there anymore. whats up with that?
I personally use this Greasemonkey script to be able to download, to prevent autoplay and to set which resolution is default.

Moved into my new house, discovered the wireless doesn't reach my room, so I have no internet access (well, I get 1 bar sometimes which is barely useable for a few minutes - that's how I'm posting this). Not a problem! I brought a wireless extender with me in case of just such an eventuality, I just need to plug it in somewhere between the router and me to get signal.

...There isn't a single power socket in the room between me and the router, nor is there one in the hall, or in fact, anywhere at all in between. So now I've had to spend £10 on a really long ethernet cable which won't arrive until Saturday at the earliest, and I have no real internet access until then :(

OnT: Girls that wear mini-skirts and winter coats. I don't understand, it's like 22C outside.

Sounds a bit like my apartment. The wireless from the school doesn't reach up here (I'm on campus), so we have really long ethernet cable that reaches from one room to the common room so we can plug in various devices there. It's a bit of a hassle, but at least I have wired in my room? That's a shitty deal.

Also, aren't you going to Japan in a few months? Why move in somewhere new?

I'm gunna leave you anyway.

I still have another year of uni first, then Japan is for the year after. So I need somewhere to live near the university for this one year.

The poor wireless range isn't the annoying thing, though, it's the general lack of power sockets in this entire house. The wireless wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for that. Even in my room the only power socket is a double one by my bed on the far side of the room from the desk, and I have to use a long extension cable to plug my PC in (my phone charger takes up the other socket, since I need my phone nearby for the alarm. Which means I can't have a lamp by my bed if I want to read in the night). And the dining room doesn't have any at all, so we can't listen to music or watch TV while we eat.

It's really inconvenient :-\.

Waking up with a tummy ache and knowing you're gonna have to spend the day going "No we don't have any iPhone 5's in. No I can't reserve one." over and over
