This morning, I'm mildly annoyed that I didn't get a good night's sleep again. A cup of iced coffee and I'm wide awake for the moment. But I know exactly what's going to happen at about 9am. That loud thunk you'll hear will be my head hitting my desk at work.

EDIT: Fixed with restarting... Disconnecting my other VPN Client killed my PC's ability to connect to that particular server

This is getting seriously annoying, VLC works perfect still, I might just switch back to 'old faithful'

Reason 2 for thine grumpiness.
Bought bluray. Watched bluray. Bluray looks only fractionally better than DVD (I already owned the DVD version)
In fact, apart from some slightly cleaner edges, less haloing etc, the video looks almost identical, if not worse actually. The DVD has that "haze" around the edges of things and the bluray does not, but the bluray has some pretty bad aliasing issues where te DVD - even when upscaled - does not have quite so bad issues.

Seriously, what is wrong with this stupid fucking country and our media... Can't the fucking morons encode anything properly?
I watched a 480p webstream of the same show from an NTSC source, YES A WEBSTREAM, and it looked better upscaled than the bluray did in its native resolution, well, it had some minor artifacts, but it was so much better overall...
