Fucking Windows. It amazes me that simply cleaning the dust out of my PC can somehow cause boot corruption errors (missing or corrupted hal.dll file). Oh well, at least it only took 1 hour to jump through the usual diagnostic hoops and get it fixed, and without completely reinstalling Windows. So I guess I can't complain too much. I've gone through a lot worse recovering PCs in the past.
Sounds like you nudged a couple of electrons in the cleaning process.
Goddamn electrons. Why can't they just stay in their orbits like they're supposed instead of jumping around all over the place. Just because a few of them want to go on a Goddamn vacation with the dustballs is no reason to put my data at risk and suck up a bunch of my time. Electrons, like women, belong in the kitchen, working. Make me a damn sammich, electrons! What do you tell an electron with two black eyes? Nothin', you done told it twice!
People who smoke.
Especially you.
I don't smoke. In fact, I got to see someone have a heart attack right in front of me after taking a long drag on a cigarette and holding it in. This guy has stents in his heart, so smoking is an even dumber idea than normal. I suggest that everybody who smokes should watch someone they care about have a heart attack; it might give them a new sense of perspective.
