Oh, we actually have enough bar staff to handle an increase in volume, although the union doesn't seem to trust them since they're all students working for free. It's more of a licensing issue - with the level of security we had last year, we had a maximum capacity of 500 people at once in the venue. That can be increased by having more security on duty, but only if the union give us permission. Which they're refusing to do.

My mother recently got sued due to her boyfriend downloading (and thereby sharing) copyright protected stuff with eMule, which is definitely 100% illegal here (and he knows that)... I wonder why she's still putting up with him despite all of his annoying character flaws and after all the problems he caused in the past (money magically disappearing when he was the only one at home and stuff)

Well, fuck, I was planning to do some maintenance on the outside of my house today, but I'm lacking a tube of white caulk that I thought I had. I've already spent the morning running around town doing errands, so I'm not going back out to go to Home Depot today.

Plan B was to cut down a bit more of the dead tree in my yard, but I think I'm going to do that tomorrow. Now that laziness is beginning to set in, I think I'm going to bust out my drinkin' glass and my Left Hand Brewery Milk Stout and do some more game design instead.

The unnecessary complicatedness of formal wear. Apparently the suit I was going to wear to a charity ball thing on Saturday night is actually totally unacceptable at a black-tie event, because it's morningwear and not eveningwear, or something. So now I've had to get another one at the last minute, at vast expense

You have equality. You can do literally anything a man can do. Just because random dumbasses on the internet or people who grew up in a shitty household treat you with disrespect doesn't mean every guy will, nor does it mean you don't have equality.

Feminism is a stupid concept. Women consistently say things like: "All guys are assholes" etc putting all men into those categories when they are blatantly wrong. If a guy cheats on a woman, it's because he's an asshole. If she cheats on him, it's because she was "confused".
You can't be for equality and only be for one side of the coin.

Like, a woman who you've met once, can literally just call the police and say you raped her, and you will be convicted. Period. You can't just say: "No, I didn't." That shit doesn't go off easy. I guess it's because I personally don't treat women like "meat-bags" (Rolling my eyes, here), so I can't understand why women are stupid enough to believe that they can have "equality" while doing the same thing that men do to them. I grew up in a household where my father taught me chivalry etc. Open doors for women, help them carry shit, treat them with the utmost respect. And 95% of the guys I know do the same thing.

Yeah, if I'm going in the same door as them. I don't open their car doors though. You could perceive this as sexist, but I would think that would be going a little on the extreme side.

I'm not hate-filled, as it seems like you're far more angry than I am, but am definitely assumptive.

It's a safe assumption, is it not? I mean, whether you said people or just men, logically you would think that you would only be talking about men. I'm not sure why a woman who knows things about technology etc, and therefore has experienced(most likely) whatever you're describing, would treat you in that way if they know how it feels.

I also made this assumption based on the thought that we were discussing feminism rather than equality as a whole, however it does occur to me that you can be for equality(as I am) rather than being a feminist. That was a dangerous assumption on my part, and was clearly wrong, however, my statements stand.
