...but yes, my grandmother seems to be senile too. She called my mother by her maiden name, and didn't seem to recall my father existing at all.

Drink it straight or on the rocks. Save it for a special occasion. Or regift it if you don't drink and/or don't care for the taste of whiskey.

I was thinking of re-gifting it, but I do cook with alcohol. I've no idea as to the taste... whiskey is "smokey" or whatever.

I'd say that's a bit on the "too good to cook with"-side already, though not bad enough to earn you a spot in the "Horrible things you've seen done to an alcoholic drink"-thread. Re-gifting or developing a taste are your best options here.

Irish Whiskey isn't the best kind of Whiskey imho. My roommate drinks it but it's sort of icky.

OnT: Going downtown for Contact, and there's no coat check so I'm not taking a jacket. Fuck me, it's going to be cold.

For one month, ONE month, someone has been passing on sickness to another in this house, it is getting boring.......fever, vomiting, fever, sore throat, snot.. Now it is me again, not really sick, but not fit to do anything. I got the flu without fever...

And it's starting to piss me off. It's exhausting, and I hate being trapped inside.....

Oh god, oh god. I know what you mean. It is realllly annoying. But then sometimes I get all weird and then have to open all the cupboards so I can shut them all in the order that they are supposed to be shut in.
