o.o i've had a few scenarios where chkdsk didn't flag any anomalies yet files were corrupted.
does chkdsk do hashchecks though? i don't think they do.
edit: now that we're onto this topic, know any hashcheck apps? for scanning a whole drive i mean.

The staff at AB. They're total morons... I'm pretty sure most of them hate me so they read the most bizarre things into everything I do.

Like I was actually told... "the ego-centrism that clearly seeps from the sheer amount of images" for uploading a bunch of screenshots to several uploads, most of which being years ago which I hadn't been warned about even once in three years. Like what the actual fuck... Ego-centrism... from uploading screenshots? How the hell can you even infer that? That's just... I don't even.

Not only that, but this mod's going all on about how it was probably for personal gain or e-peen or blah blah, like what... I took a lot of screenshots... I wanted to share them... I was lazy and hit ctrl+a. End of story really... And I actually get told that he doesn't believe my arguments because there's no logic... like... what argument... I was lazy... for fuck's sake dude lol. Reading shit into everything...

Even if I tried to do something for personal gain I knew that uploading screenshots only gave like 5-10 Yen or something (bonus points) and it caps out at like 20 per series or something, which is a pathetically low amount and wouldn't even explain uploading so many. Not to mention I have a seedbox and have had one throughout the entire time I uploaded screenshots so I wouldn't have even needed it in the first place...

God, the amount of facepalm...

What's worse is I think one of them has it out for me or something, cause random ass posts from years ago have been randomly getting deleted for months (you get an automatic PM notification when one is deleted), most of which there was absolutely nothing wrong with. They were on topic, contributed, the topics weren't getting trashed or anything and hadn't been posted in for years... like what the fuck... why? Really?

Anyways, those people just blow my mind.

o.o stacking yen is quite easy on AB though, just have a few low-seed series and cap them at 0.1KB/s or something, they don't usually read into how much you've uploaded but rather how long you've been seeding it.
i could get like 20yen(i think, maybe less) per hour before i cleaned up my harddrive.

the part that AB pisses me off is how they handle their dead torrents, i mean they just let them rot ._. i can't even download a few of the albums i want...
wish they could've implemented something like a high-reward system for adopting a dead torrent or something, but nope they're still rotting there.

Uh well, I get 31 yen per hour but I'm only seeding 39 things, most of which are VN or manga which give reduced rewards. But I have 4.68TB uploaded and 342GB downloaded, and 41k Yen just sitting unused... that I'd even need that is just a joke. I'll literally never download 4+TB of anime.

When I first joined there was horrible peerage, I didn't have a seedbox, and forum posts gave 100 Yen per, so I posted like 100+ posts a day there for awhile, but I never uploaded anything until I got a seedbox since my home connection at 100kb/s at maximum which I would have kept throttled down to like 40-70kb/s just so I could do anything else would have been pathetic for that, and the vast majority of stuff I uploaded screenshots to are my own uploads which means I had a seedbox at the time anyways and yen wasn't an issue to begin with (not to mention even 200*10 would have only been like 2000 yen... which is inconsequential, but there are caps at 20 per series anyways so it's more like 200 yen...).

The whole thing is just stupid to be honest... No warning for 3 years, no rules against it, and the message I got said...

We are discussing the issue, so things are pending, just be aware that we do not take this lightly.

That little threat was already on top of the 2 week warning... and this is upon my first notification of the damn thing. Like wtf... How can someone do something not against the rules for 3+ years without being told it's bad then suddenly be punished for it and threatened to be punished more severely or banned or some shit on some staff's random ass whim or if they don't like what I say or something...

Bunch of bullshit if you ask me.
