My exam's official answer key was released today and there are more that 12 errors in the answers provided. I've sent complaint letters like so many others but I'm still pissed...

o.o i've had a few scenarios where chkdsk didn't flag any anomalies yet files were corrupted.
does chkdsk do hashchecks though? i don't think they do.
edit: now that we're onto this topic, know any hashcheck apps? for scanning a whole drive i mean.

My gut (when it wasn't being a pain) told me the issue was in the free space part, so I doubt data corruption would be as probable.
Also, I use HashCheck, though I would still have to prepare checksums beforehand.

I bought a new big comfy chair yesterday, it's glorious. The only problem now is the rest of my house looks like crap and I don't have the money to have nice things. A nice thing? sure. Things? Apparently not.

Well, that's not true. I have the money, I simply lack the capacity to spend it without the promise of sexual favours or incredible, unbelievable, skeleton-melting coziness.

I also have other problems besides furniture, so that was lie too.

The chair is glorious though.

My computer is acting up again lately.  Today I got around 5 BSODs, and Check Disk never found anything.  It's annoying >:( .
Just curious, but does anyone think room temperature can screw with a PC?  I think it can, and I think this is what's causing my problem.  Or maybe I'm not thinking straight because of the heat...

Related, my super comfortable chair is falling apart.

Are you running Windows 8? I've had around 10 BSODs with my new laptop since I've gotten it because of Windows 8 and driver incompatibility, so it could be a similar problem.

I thought I was the only one with BSODs.... had three in a row today, and also think that it is the drivers acting up (or just windows 8 being the sucky os that it is).... Thank my wallet that I have a spare laptop with windows 7... :/

Death to all mosquitoes.

Ext HDD really slow. Either it's the cable or age. Hopefully it'll hold out until I figure it out.

Running out of HDD room to store my anime. I am a collective person by nature so it will be impossible for me to determine which ones to delete to make room for new ones. The only reason I do store them is so that if my friends want a specific series I can provide a decent quality version of it instead of having them stream it (excluding the fact that I want to seed back to you lovely people). Perhaps I can remove the slice-of-life ones that I have. Nobody seems to want them (or know what they are).

When someone I've never met before asks to smell/feel my hair. Then, after I refuse them to do so, they get all pissy about it. :|

I am running Windows XP.  Long story short, it had other issues so I never got around to changing it to another OS or something.
I've calmed down a bit.  My PC's still busted.  Now I'm thinking it's simply near the end of its life expectancy.  My PC is around 6-7years old.

Meanwhile, don't you hate it when it's too cold inside and it's too hot outside?
