Just clean your keyboard out and get some ant killing stuff like Terro. Their liquid ant killer has worked quite well for me, though you could probably use the granules too.

Yeah it's really bad. Like they're just tiny little black ants like you'd expect but if you smash them it has this pungent horrid smell, like a really nasty chemical smell.

I'd like to open it, but I might ruin or break it in the process.  I better get a spare keyboard first before I do.

Maybe they're using it as their home. There's probably a queen ant somewhere below the Insert key (because who really uses that? )

It's not too hard but yeah a plan b is always good. You should take pics of the ant colony in your keyboard when you open it. =]
