Getting asked a "favour" that I have to say yes to.

That's why when someone says "Will you do me a favor?" I always ask "What is it?"

Chances are, if they won't tell you then you'll probably say no anyways. Never let anyone walk all over you.

Pff... it doesn't matter who it is. Just about anyone will use you in this world if they see weakness, even if they're a good person and don't consciously intend to.

Because of an article I read this week, or last...The only way to get ahead, or the promotion, is to be the kind of asshole you don't think you should be. Be a suck up, throw your co-workers under the bus, steal the credit for things you didn't do, lie, cheat and steal. Somehow those who hire feel that these people will make good bosses under them. SRSLY? No wonder we are so screwed. Or why all upper management are idiots, who can run their business almost as well as they can tie their shoes. Doesn't seem to matter if it's government or private sector.

It was still fresh when I saw it. Blood was still bright red spread all over the road. Blood came out of its ears , mouth and nose. Its head was in a puddle of its own blood. Blood blood blood everywhere....

What, you think the school yard bullies stopped being successful after school? School is actually a great example of how human society works. The kids that shove the other kids into lockers and cheat off the smart kids on tests do better and have more pleasant lives than the ones that are getting shoved in lockers and having to actually work hard. Well, I guess some kids have to work hard...

If you're stupid you have to work hard to get good grades but there's no reward for it since cheating will give you the same results. It works in school and in life. Only one rule: Don't get caught. And if you're stupid enough to get caught you deserve to be punished.

The only place the "geeks/nerds" shine is scientific fields, and that's largely only for discoveries or inventions. The more charismatic scientist is always going to get more funding even if you have the better research and better idea. Alpha always wins. Welcome to life.

They don't have an online shop though, so you'll either need to go to France or have someone that lives around there go shop for you and mail you the stuff.

In general though, it's best to go with fake plants rather than fake flowers since they're much harder to tell if they're fake.

Like extending a contract for 2 years for something; I just found out, I can't watch anymore.
It seems with the exception of UK the entire EU has been put in the dark.
