I think it is.  You need CCCP for Haali media splitter so you can play ordered chapters.

It is, and you don't need the whole CCCP for Haali Media Splitter, that can be found as a separate download.

This is assuming you're running Win7 Starter. Installing Linux would probably make it faster. Also assuming you're not using Windows Media Player. IMO ZoomPlayer is the best choice because it's lightweight, more so than MPCHC from my experience.

Thanks for the computer advice. Will anyone even be uploading 720p next year? I'm already seeing a lot of uploads that are only available in 1080p or bluray. Resolution snobs :)

Thanks, it's a bit pricier than what I've been looking at but much more capable. Technology does that to me a lot. Stupid technology  :)

I might get that one as I've just had an expected expense turn out to be a lot less expensive than I'd planned for, not buy a new laptop type savings but still good. I wouldn't want to move on laptop bit just now anyway as part of the laptop replacement plan will be to register at the local city college and use my student status to get huge, pay off tuition and then some student discounts on software for the new machine.
