« on: September 19, 2010, 12:47:24 PM »
I think the title basically covers it, I'm talking 'bout the PS2 game, and I'm having trouble finding a torrent...

How do you go about putting that on a disk and playing it? Do you have some kind of emulator or a moded PS2?

For a PS2 to read blank DVD's, don't you need a modchip in the machine?

He obviously has a modded PS2.

I found torrents, but all of them are dead. So it's useless to PM you the link(s).

other parts I read with absolute sorrow,  because I think them utterly false and grievously mischievous...

It shouldn't be that hard to find.  Even if you can't find a torrent, you can usually find such things on rapidshare/megaupload or something.

That said, I won't give actual links, because I don't think it's allowed here.

And @ those confused about modded PS2s, the PS2 is actually really easy to soft mod, provided you have some kind of method of booting a few homebrew programs for the first time.  (Well, or you could just have some nice person send you a memory card with the exploit already written on it.  I think on another forum people were doing this for free if you'd mail them the card, but I'm not sure if they're still doing it.)  Swapmagic dvds work great for this, though there are some other exploits that can be done without them.  Once you get FMCB installed you can launch whatever homebrew you like from the system menu, so you won't need them anymore.  I use Open PS2 Loader and a 400 gig IDE hard drive I got for like $40, installed a crap ton of games to it.  Though you can only install a hard drive if you have a fat PS2...
