Bad upload speeds... Utorrent issue?
tomoya-kun:
Hey. I seem to be getting terrible UL speed on UTorrent. I've got around 8 torrents from here uploading but they are only going at speeds of like 1kb/s. Is this UTorrent issue or is no-one leeching these files? I feel like I should be getting at least 10kb/s up on each or something.
Maybe I should try Vuze?
isukianime:
there are lots of people here with gigabit/100Mb seedboxes and connections. It's normal. Try seeding at least 20+ torrents and let them seed for a few weeks. Lots of threads on how to increase your ratio
Freedom Kira:
Try having 100 torrents running. The collective speed should be plenty.
And seriously, 1904785183748th thread about this issue, but this has gotta be the first time anyone's suggested it was the client's fault. Running 8 concurrent torrents is nothing - come back when your collective upload speed is less than 5kBps with over 30 torrents going, all of which have at least one leecher. Then you've (probably) got a problem.

I didn't say those were all my torrents running, just from this site. I've got about 25 running from different sites and I can't upload to any. It used to be fine, and supposedly i have got 1mbps UP. I'm thinking my ISP is blocking my torrents or my client is not accepting connections.
Freedom Kira:
If you've got public torrents running and your collective upload speed is really low, you probably do have a problem. Try a couple things:
1. Restart uTorrent. Like, actually close it from the taskbar, not the x in the corner, and then start it up again.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Force encryption.
4. Reset your network - shut everything down and then bring everything back up.
Basically, try them in order until one works.
