Amnesia: The dark Descent

Question to the people who played it already AND played Penumbra. Is it better than Penumbra? Because for me Penumbra was just "meh" and wasn't scary at all. Well, Black Plague was decent and much better than Overture but still not even funny Clarence and few puzzles (Overture didn't have any puzzles) were enough to make it more than avarage. But the concept, if handled well, can give very good horror game. So I'm asking if Amnesia is any different from Penumbra?

Wow, the trailer was so intense. I really felt the atmosphere there. I LOVE IT!
Not many games out there that can drag you in just by the trailer.

After playing it for a while, I recommend it to other people thinking about purchasing it.

Depends which penumbra you played. I hear that penumbra was sort of slow and explorative/story, whereas there's more "action" in Amnesia in the sense there's more avoiding and trying to stay alive and the story is secondary. (Granted, I haven't actually had time to play Amnesia... so you'll have to ask others... or waste money testing out the idea yourself.)

Meomix:
The video commentaries where hilarious, will download the game just to see how spooky it really is.
