Too many finnish people around here... though it IS a nice country... my family used to go to Hämälänmäki near Pumaala (did I spell that right) and chill in a möki there... days are over, sadly. By the way, you guys have this awesome bread with fish inside. What's it called again? I dig it... ;D

OK, about me: I live in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. Located between Munich and Stuttgart (closer to Munich though, in fact, you can take a train there for your weekly shopping... much better than Augsburg if you want clothes, games, manga or computers), it used to be a town of international influence back in the 15th century due to the Fugger clan, a family of rich merchants who also initiated a lot of social projects (one of the world's first social housing projects... it still stands but is a museum nowadays).

Another Brit, which by my counting makes #3. I currently reside in St. Albans, an old Roman town famous for its 800+ year old market and having more pubs per person than anywhere else in the country. Virtually all directions are given in pub form. If you know football, I'm right near Watford. If you know music, my hometown is responsible for Enter Shikari, for which I apologise. What sucks harder is that we had far better bands around (Violent Delight or Sikth for example, but no, Shikari have to the success story  ::)) and in fact still do, a fact I've recently begun to re-realise. If you know neither, just say I'm from London. It's really not that far off anyway.

What's interesting about the city I live in (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) is that even though it's not near the border, I can get to Budapest or Vienna faster than I can get to Bucharest (our capital). You can thank Romania's awesome roads/railways for that. I also have seen Budapest/Vienna more times than I have seen Bucharest.

Still, I love my country :3

Netherlands, Zuid Holland, Den Haag. No intention of changing this anytime soon  ;D

Are you deaf as well as blind, woman? I'm not a carpet to walk over and I
distinctly heard myself speak. If I pinch your bottom, you can slap my face, but until I do, I expect a civil word for a civil word!

It's faster to go to berlin, copenhagen, paris than it is to go visit my home town....

Because we can!

What?
Why would it be?
It's still faster to berlin, stockholm or copenhagen even if I take a plane to my home town.

And cheaper too.

@SirSkyRider:That would be kalakukko.
Btw, other side of my family is from Puumala, I've got relatives there. The family farm, lots of good memories too. Pretty place. Ah, spending the days chilling in the hays with my cousin. Sledging down the nearby mountain(a hill really, but a nice steep and long cliff). There's over 200 years old tree on that cliff btw. The summer and the sauna, fishing the lake, hunting. now I'm here stuck in this god damn city and she's far away. Why do I always end up like this? All of the relatives and friends I get along with and have good time with end up somewhere else. Curses!

Because we can!

It's cheating, i could fly to Hong Kong in less time than it takes me to drive to new York.

Where do I live?

Wanneroo, which is about 20k NORTH of Perth, in Western Australia.

Technically part of Perth, as it is a suburb.

You may now make jokes about the word 'Wanneroo' if you wish. Believe me it happens.

Who are you counting in your Brits so far? I can think of a few more than 2 off the top of my head, but then they've not posted much lately.

I was just reading through this thread, and I only saw two. I expect there probably are a lot more that simply haven't posted.

I'd rather live in Congo than in Finland.

Busy with assignments and lack of interest in anime until Oreimo came out. Now I live in the Oreimo thread =P

Thats quite the upgrade from being the only woman on the internet =P Is there a story behind this elevation in status? ;D

As it always seems to be with Andu I made it happen once again.

But we have solid reasons!

Because we can!
