Where do you live

I have lived in five countries (Japan, Thailand, Austria, USA, Saudi Arabia). I am in Japan now (very rural Japan) but going to Saudi Arabia for a while before returning home to Japan.

Alaska has been a popular destination for my family members. I think it's a little odd since my roots are mostly in Massachusetts, New York, and Florida. My grandparents from MA lived in Alaska in the 50s right after they got married, and I've had 2 different cousins whose husbands were stationed in Alaska during military service in the 2000s. My family has universally loved their time in the state.
Too bad you guys have Sarah Palin; she's all but spoiled whatever positive image I had of the state.
