Recommend some pc games

Sosseres:
I would suggest going through the infinity engine games. Baldur's Gate II and Planescape: Torment are the best games on it. But they are all good, if a bit old. Make sure to download the fix packs after you patch them fully. They fix the majority of issues you could have.

Starcraft 2 is a smash hit as well. Well worth playing the campaign, there are also some decentish custom maps online. Those will be better as time passes I assume.

Recettear seems to be generating a lot of hype right now.

Sid Meier's Civilization V was just released as well.

I didn't want to recommend the same as somebody else. :)

Did Darksiders get a good port, or the standard console ports where you can forget about it without a gamepad?

Strange I got a double post, thought I was editing the post above...

Stupid Steam won't let me buy because I'm in Japan. Anyone know of a good proxy service?

The game is Japanese, I would think there would be a way to obtain it there?
