First Timer here

Alright. I finally broke down and decided the fastest way to get anime music and such was to use Bit Torrent. After dodging some paranoid naysayers I decided to use it anyway but I'm totally a newbie at this and I have some questions. I've read the FAQ but it doesn't answer my question, perhaps a guide to torrent newbies is hidden somewhere and if not i suggest making one. XD Yay for stupid questions.

I've finally figured out that I don't need to upload any of my own stuff, as all of my own stuff comes from this place and seeding means 'uploading' already downloaded items.

Question 1: I've made the folders specifically for bit torrent files and a seperate for the torrents themselves, for seeding what is needed to be kept in the files, the torrents themselves or the files? I want to know if moving the completed files itself won't harm the seeding.

Question 2: I use the original Bit Torrent, and when a file finishes and says 100% it says 'seeding'. I wonder if it's okay to clear the file from the torrent menu itself, will it do anything wrong, or will it not harm the torrent itself?

I understand that I may sound stupid right now, but it's that whole total newbie thing. For bit torrents itself as well as bakabt. I just want to make sure I get a good enough ratio so I can still be a part of this place. XD Imma dork.

Remove or stop a torrent in your client, and it'll stop seeding.

Moving your completed or incomplete torrent files (the ones you're downloading) to a different folder will stop leeching and seeding.

Thank you! I kinda wondered it so I been making copypasta of the files to the places I want them to be. <3

Everyone does. It's pretty annoying sometimes. Especially when they can find the forums link and yet not notice the Wiki link.

Not saying you're one of them. But chill on the help forum from time to time and you'll know what I mean.
