Changing a script's fps
(1/1)
Takeshi:
I have an .ass script which needs to be changed from 25 fps to 23,976 fps.
I tried SubtitleEdit, and it worked partly, but completely fucked up the different styles of the subtitle. It had been changed though.
I also tried taking the original srt which my .ass script comes from, changed the fps, and then copied all my styling to it, but changing the fps changes the time codes so no improvement there.
I just need a simple solution/program.
kristen:
FPS? I don't think a script has a native fps, since it's all based on times instead of frames.
Al_Sleeper:
MKVToolnix?

Doesn't seem to be such a function in the program.

Fact remains that it's possible to change the frame rate, but doing it with SubtitleEdit will fuck up the .ass script.
I guess I could keep searching for a program. Just wanted to ask before wasting hours.
EDIT: I found a solution, I'll just have to remake my initial script for episode 1. Changing the fps for SRT subs seems to be fine whereas they fucked up on ASS.
Haha, this release is continuing to give me problems.
Now I can't load my encode of episode 1 in Aegisub without loading mp4 file without audio, and then loading audio file separately when I am in the program.
