Hardware is reserving 4GB of memory
« on: September 29, 2010, 12:29:14 AM »
I just built a new computer for myself at work but I am only able to use half of the Memory. Its a Windows 7 Pro x64 8GB memory with a ASUS p7p55D Deluxe Motherboard. I have tried remapping memory in BIOS, reseating memory. all the RAM is the same 4 x 2GB corsair xms ddr3 1600. CPU-z says i have 8GB in single channel. windows says I have 8GB with 4gb usable.

any thoughts?
